Homemade pickles, made in small batches in Kolkata

Every jar on this page is cooked at home in Kolkata, a few kilos at a time. We use cold pressed mustard oil, whole spices roasted the same day, and fruit bought in season. There are no chemical preservatives, no vinegar and no artificial colour, so the oil, salt and sun do the work the way they always have in Bengali kitchens.

How to choose your pickle

If you like it sweet and tangy, start with kuler achar or tamarind pickle. For heat, try green chilli or garlic pickle. Chicken pickle is our only non veg jar. Each pickle comes in 200 g and 500 g jars. Pick any four 200 g jars of our veg pickles and you pay ₹699 for all four. 500 g jars and chicken pickle are sold at their own price.
