Why there is only one
A non vegetarian pickle has to be made properly or not at all. It needs its own equipment, its own storage and a longer cook, and the margin for error on moisture is much smaller than with fruit. We would rather do one jar carefully than four badly.
What makes a chicken pickle keep
Moisture. That is the whole answer. Meat that still holds water will spoil in a jar no matter how much salt goes in, which is why a lot of commercial chicken pickle leans on preservatives. Cook the moisture out properly, keep the pieces under the oil, and it holds for months on its own.
We use boneless chicken breast, cut into very small pieces and fried before it goes into the masala. Breast turns papery once the water is gone, which is the opposite of what you want.
Veg and non veg, kept apart
Every product page on this site carries the standard green or brown mark, and the chicken pickle is made and bottled separately from the vegetarian range. If you are ordering for a household that keeps the two apart, the jar and the listing both make it obvious.
A note on keeping
This jar has a shorter opened life than the rest of the range. Six months rather than nine, always with a dry spoon, and refrigerate after opening if your kitchen runs hot in summer.
